DR RICHARD KENNEDY – PROFESSIONAL BIO
Dr Richard Kennedy is an ear, nose, throat, head and neck surgeon based in Melbourne.
He graduated from Melbourne University in 1992 with a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery. He subsequently went on to do training in Otolaryngology in Victoria from 1998 to 2002 and graduated as an ENT surgeon at that time.
He then went on and did further subspecialty training in the USA including:
- University of Utah in Salt Lake City doing a fellowship in Otology and Neurotology (Ear surgery) – 2002 & 2003.
- University of California Davis in Sacramento doing a fellowship in Head and Neck Cancer, Skull Base and Microvascular Surgery – 2003 & 2004.
He returned home to start practice in 2004. His private practice is based in East Melbourne nearby to St Vincent’s Private Hospital East Melbourne.
He has public hospital appointment at St Vincent’s Hospital where he mainly performs Head and Neck Cancer and Skull Base Surgery. He also works at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital where he is a member of the Otology unit and also of the Cochlear Implant Surgery team. He also visits Goulburn Valley Base Hospital monthly.
